Zen Vouga Quinta Do Fundo De Vila
Welcome to our traditional farm in a rural village in Portugal. ZenVouga is set in a hectare of pure nature. We have 3 private guest houses that can be rented together or separately, in total we can comfortably accommodate up to 14 adults for family gatherings and the like, with capacity for more than 20 with children. We welcome everyone, regardless of ethnicity, race, belief or sexual orientation, including pets. Founded in 1744.
The space
You are welcome to feel at home and use the facilities on the farm with care and respect.
Two of the houses are on the RC/C and only in one of the houses do you have to climb a short flight of stairs. We have a ramp for wheelchair users.
All the houses are fully furnished, so please feel free to ask about anything you would like as an extra, or can't find.
The farm is in a remote village in the countryside, so we have no public plumbing and three septic tanks. Please don't put chemicals in the sinks or toilets, and don't put paper or other things like sanitary towels, condoms, sanitary towels and the like in them. We have bins in all the bathrooms, which we'd be grateful if you could use and let us know if and when they're full, or put them in the garbage can yourself.
Access for travelers
Guests have access to all areas except the main house and maintenance areas, where we store equipment and material.
Other things to bear in mind
Please bear in mind that being here is not like living in a city. We try to keep things simple and sustainable, so please take quick showers (we have solar panels for DHW so think of others) and don't create too much waste or chemicals in the toilets and sinks, because we have septic tanks.
