Casa Do Pinheiro: Vale Do Vouga
Welcome to our traditional quinta, ZenVouga, located in a rural village in Portugal. Zen Vouga, also known as Quinta do Fundo de Vila, is set in just over 1 ha of pure nature, in a peaceful and idyllic location. We welcome everyone, regardless of ethnicity, color, beliefs or sexual orientation.
We have the necessary facilities for you to cook your own meals and enjoy a relaxing time in laid-back rural Portugal.
The space
Zen Vouga has been in the family since 1744. Appreciating the best of Portuguese tradition, we have restored the oldest houses with granite and local oak wood, and wood-fired oven tiles, as well as paving the paths with Portuguese cobblestone. Located in a region of Portugal known for its excellent gastronomy, regional wines, ancient culture and the country's largest thermal baths, Zen Vouga is the perfect place to relax and restore.
On the quinta, our guests can see traditional wine-making facilities, an old wine press and a wine cellar. We've also preserved a granary, two grills and a wood-burning oven, typical of Portuguese country houses. We have added a table football and table tennis table (ping-pong) and an indoor swimming pool for the entertainment of our guests.
We have three houses ready on site for rentals. Casa da Terra dos Padres and Casa dos Padres are located on the ground floor. Casa do Pinheiro is accessible via a small staircase. They can be rented separately or all together for larger groups.
Casa do Pinheiro consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a single sofa bed.
PVI, we have a separate house for our own use. This fourth house is not for rent.
We also have a small ramp for accessibility challenges.
We warmly welcome you and ask you to treat our cottages with care and consideration, as if they were your own.
Travelers' access
